Here's some photos of caricatures I drew from an event last night.

These are fairly large files 8 inches by 9 inches (sizes vary), though they should preview at a smaller size. If you click on the image it'll pop open as a larger image in another window. If your one of the people I drew, I wanted to load them up at a large enough size that you could down load them and print them out if you wanted to. :) If your one of the people I drew and your photo isn't here, I apologize, some of the photos didn't come out.

"Color Yourself" a cool campaign that I created for Classic Tan in Champaign Urbana

This is a campaign that I'm proud of. It was created for Classic Tan, a tanning salon chain in the Champaign - Urbana region. Check out their website by clicking here. They wanted to appeal to mothers, and people who wouldn't usually tan. They wanted to focus on their non UV tanning option. So, this is what I came up with. It was definitely a different take on the whole tanning experience and we ending up doing multiple designs utilizing the crayon. We had also came up with a few alternate campaigns as well, but this one was my favorite!

Here's on of my favorite billboards that I created for Champaign's Curtis Orchard.

Curtis Orchard is a local tourist attraction and one of the coolest places to visit in Champaign Urbana. It's a combination petting zoo, apple and pumpkin orchard, restaurant, park, and family fun center. Check out their website here. In the time I was with Adams Outdoor I created at least a dozen or so billboards for Curtis Orchard. All of them highlighting different features that they offer. This billboard was my favorite though. I actually used a plastic Halloween decoration for the pumpkin. But it looks pretty real! I wish I had taken a photo of the billboard when it was up!

Legislative attempts aimed at lowering Iowa's legal blood-alcohol level are on the agenda again this year and facing a federal deadline. The Senate Judiciary Committee voted unanimously to lower the limit from .10 to .08 percent, but the Iowa House Public Safety Committee debated the change for more than an hour Thursday before voting 12-9 to send it to the House floor. A federal law requires states to adopt a .08-percent blood-alcohol level by October as the standard for driving while intoxicated. Iowa risks losing $47.2 million in federal road money between 2004 and 2007 if it does not lower its limit...

I designed and art directed the "Vote Yes" billboard campaign for Developmental Services Center

I was really proud of this campaign, and the client was pleased as well! The Developmental Services Center ended up using my billboard design in all their print ads, magnetic stickers, buttons, posters, t-shirts, and more...

This campaign had a lot of personal meaning for me and I feel really happy about the fact that hundreds of people will be helped by the passing of this disability tax.

To read an article that ran in The Daily Illini about the success of the campaign click here.

I designed and art directed this billboard campaign for the United Way of Champaign's "Carousel Of Caring."

I took the photo and I designed this billboard campaign for United Way of Champaign County. I'm actually pretty proud of the way it turned out. The Carousel of Caring was an united Way auction in which local artists painted carousel horses and auctioned them off at a charity event with the proceeds going to United Way charities.

Visit the United Way if Champaign County website here.

The Wizard of Oz billboard illustration...

Here are two photos of the billboard I designed and illustrated for the Junior Woman's Club and Urbana High School. I had to put a lot of info into the design, but I loved the way it turned out! Visit the Junior Woman's Club website at www.cujwc.org.

Opportunity specialists billboard illustration.

Here's a fun billboard that I designed and illustrated for opportunity Specialists, a full-service professional placement and staffing firm in Champaign Illinois. Visit their site at www.opportunityspecialists.com.

Here's another billboard design that I was in!

This campaign was created for the Champaign county tourism and visitors bureau about two years ago. I believe we had four billboards up around Champaign. That's me in the hat and sun glasses! I came up with the campaign and designed the billboard. You can visit their site at www.visitchampaigncounty.org.

Here are some blurry photos of caricatures from an event I drew at last night.

Argh! I didn't get great photos, but well, they're good enough I guess, and I promised some of these people I would post them. :)

I promised to post this caricature photos on my blog.

Here's some caricature photos from an event that I caricatured at today. Some of the photos aren't exactly clear, too much sun and shade. But I promised these people I would post them. Sorry that they didn't come out better!

Here's a portrait of me painted by a Peoria artist Brendan Gould

This was painted about two years ago by a Peoria artist that I'm old friends with. I don't know if he nailed me right on, but it's cool to have a portrait painted, and my mom likes it alot...

Another cartoon illustration of mine on a billboard...

Here's an illustration that was on a billboard in Monticello, that I created for Heaths tire and automotive.

Illustration used in a billboard campaign for Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I created this series of cool cute illustrations for Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina billboard campaign, working in cooperation with the Adams Outdoor Advertising art directors in Charlotte, North Carolina.
